Who we serve

Built for businesses that bill other businesses

Contractors, suppliers, service companies and anyone else with unpaid commercial invoices.

Accounts we take

  • Money one business owes another for goods or services bought for business use
  • Debtors located in Pennsylvania
  • Sole proprietors, when the purchase was for their business
  • Work on residential property for a business customer, like a landlord, property manager or general contractor, with your HICPA registration and signed contract

Accounts we don't take

  • Consumer or household debt of any kind
  • An individual's bill for work on their own home
  • Debtors outside Pennsylvania (for now)
  • Debtors in bankruptcy
  • Accounts more than 3½ years past the first unpaid due date

We may also decline or return an account that's disputed, missing documents, or may be past the statute of limitations.

Fees

No recovery, no fee

We work on contingency. There's no upfront or placement fee, and the rate is set by how old the account is on the day you place it. Fresh accounts cost less to collect.

FAQ

Questions clients ask

Straight answers. Your signed agreement controls the details.

Do I pay anything upfront?

No. There's no upfront or placement fee. You owe a fee only on amounts collected, apart from a few situations spelled out in the agreement, like withdrawing an account in the middle of a payment plan.

What kinds of debt do you collect?

Business-to-business only: money a business owes for goods or services bought for business use. We don't collect consumer or household debt.

Where does the debtor have to be?

In Pennsylvania. We may expand later, but only after confirming no license, registration or bond is needed in another state.

How long does collection take?

It depends on the debtor's finances and willingness to pay, so we can't promise a timeline or a result. Placing an account early usually gives the best chance.

How and when do I get paid?

Payments go into a separate trust account used only for client money. Once a month we send you everything that cleared the month before, less our fee.

What reports will I get?

An itemized statement with each payout, showing every amount collected, its date and method, our fee, the net paid to you, the remaining balance and the account's status.

What if the debtor pays me directly?

Tell us in writing. Direct payments on a placed account count as collected, and our fee applies, since our work usually prompts them.

What if the debtor disputes the bill?

We send you the dispute and you respond in writing within 10 business days. Good-faith credits you issue to resolve a dispute aren't charged a fee unless we negotiated them.

Can you settle for less than the full balance?

Only within the settlement limits you set in the agreement. Anything below that needs your written approval, and email is enough. You can set different limits for a specific account.

Do you take small balances?

Yes. Balances under $1,500 fall in Tier 3 (33%), since smaller accounts take about the same work to collect.

Will you sue the debtor or get a judgment?

No. We're not a law firm and we never file suit or appear in court. If you want legal action, we'll forward the file to an attorney you choose, at your written direction. Legal costs are under your own agreement with that attorney.

Can you collect on a judgment I already have?

Send us the details and we'll review it. Enforcing a judgment through the courts is attorney work, so some cases are better sent straight to your lawyer.

How old is too old?

We don't take accounts more than 3½ years past the first unpaid due date, unless the file has the debtor's signed written acknowledgment of the debt, which resets that date.

Can I pull an account back?

Yes, any time, by written notice. Our fee still applies to money already collected and to payments under a plan or settlement that was active when you withdrew. A withdrawal fee applies only if a plan or settlement talks were under way.

How do I cancel the agreement?

Either side can end it with written notice as set out in the agreement. A 6-month tail applies, so our fee still covers payments on your accounts during that window.

Will you damage my customer relationship?

We're firm but courteous, use approved templates you can review, and never threaten or embarrass anyone. You can still do new work for the debtor while we collect.

Do you report to credit bureaus?

That isn't part of our service. We focus on getting the account paid.

Is my information kept private?

Yes. Your business information and every account file stay confidential and are used only to collect your accounts.
